"We can't remember everything, we, therefore, need to be reminded."
INTRODUCTION
Two Purposes
1. To have this notebook remember for you, for easy access in life.
2. To re-mind you, meaning to create a whole new mind by filling in all the sections of your mind with healthy ingredients - installing them into the habitual thinking of your mind.
3. Grounding/centering yourself each day (and as needed) so that you are operating from a more solid and powerful base, living each day more to its potential for richness and satisfaction.
Re-Minding You (Creating A New Better Mind)
This notebook provides the structure, the organized holding place, for a new mind that will serve you better. For those of you who feel their mind is fine, this offers you the opportunity to re-fine to create a higher level of "fine".
The Effect Of Reminding About What Works
We "grow up" learning many things that do not work, yet we still operate from them and battle them, unnecessarily. Now it is time to reprogram in more useful viewpoints - and, as we do, we form a much more powerful foundation of confidence in who we are and what we are capable of doing.
There is no more powerful exercise than changing those viewpoints so that they serve oneself toward being highly effective and very happy (in a long term sense) in life. Read the information below - and then use this as a tool to create the life you would always want.
(Of course, refer to the other relevant sections on happiness and managing your life.)
The Effect Of A Daily Grounding
As a daily practice in the morning, one can "center" and "ground" oneself in how great life is and what one really wants out of life. Using this practice, individuals operate at a much higher level of happiness and of effectiveness in life - for the day, and for life, as these become more programmed into one's thinking. Each day and life itself will get better and better through this practice.
Comments about this section:
The numbers in the Table Of Contents word document indicate the order that the items would be held in a notebook. Use notebook dividers you can write the number and description on or simply a pre-printed set of dividers with at least 12 dividers. Remember, please, that this resource is designed to have a great number of possible forms for you to use, so you would select those you wish to use and do those for now, returning to the website for additional forms when you wanted to go deeper or further. This is something you compile over time, though you start with the items provided on this website.
HOW TO USE THIS SYSTEM/PROCESS
THE NOTEBOOK SYSTEM STRUCTURE: The supporting structure of this system/process lies in the notebook system. You can sort through whatever grounds/reminds/inspires you and then insert it into your notebook, either modified or as is. Set up tabbed dividers that you can label or are pre-printed, so that this is easily usable and referenceable. It is handy to use the 1-31 pre-printed dividers, filling in the table of contents as you go and inserting the contents, using as a page number the section number in the Table of Contents.
THE INITIAL PROCESS TO "POPULATE" THIS NOTEBOOK, FOR QUICK USABILITY: We are suggesting a faster, easier way of setting this notebook up for use, using principles that are very effective in this regard. See
BUILD INTO A REGULAR PRACTICE: If you build this into a regular (daily) practice, it will not only up the current level of how you feel and think but it will also actually rewire your brain to think more that way.
EVEN WHILE WATCHING TV: If you do watch TV, you can use these to flip through, perhaps with one particular item catching your interest. Even if used this way, it will still elevate your existence. You'll even find times where something will strike your interest and draw you away from the TV.
WHERE TO LOCATE IT: Keep all these in one place where you can easily and regularly access and use them. If you meditate or have some similar practice, keep these in that same area.
THE GROUNDING/REMINDERS/INSPIRATION NOTEBOOK
(To be replaced with a new version in Word and a new master numbering system for easier insertion, but fully usable as it is right now.)
PURPOSE:
To increase your happiness
To remind you of what counts and what works
To "recenter" and "ground" yourself so that you enter each day powerfully
set
Supporting functions:
To give you perspective
To have you see what there is to be grateful for
To reenergize and inspire you
To remind you of what you should be aware of
To keep you on track
Instructions on how to use
Accumulate things that you wish to refer to by sticking them behind the tab of a particular (suggested) item (or create a new tab). See LifeBook System for how this is used. The linked items, in underlined red (or forest green after being accessed), are provided for ideas or to serve as the basis for or form for you to insert what is useful for you. To find relevant documents to insert, simply use the Search Engine, upper right, to find relevant documents matching the descriptions in the table of contents.
