THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE - FOREVER

This is a "Duh!" statement, obvious to most everybody - but still heeded by few.  We maybe do a little something about it, mostly when there is some immediate "problem", but we don't do enough.  We don't fine tune it - even though each effort yields magnificent benefits. 

And it doesn't matter if a few of the things we do aren't effective, as is inevitable - because, overall, we will make progress that will change our lives forever.

UNDERSTAND HOW IT ALL WORKS

As a child, one comes to conclusions derived from others and from one's reactions to seeming threats while one is dependent and powerless.

Many of the conclusions are erroneous and/or limiting and are based on some form of fear.  Whether numbed to it by avoidance habits or fully feeling it, reactions from fear provide a negative experience of life. 

One can observe when "fear" reactions are felt and use that as a sign to shift one's thinking.  As identified in the diagram the source of all thoughts, actions, etc. is either from a fear basis or "love" (meaning positive, progressive, beneficial, caring and the like). 

A "fear" thought includes the range from "oh, no, what will happen to me?" to "I'm not good enough."  It is a thought that displaces our using our mind to create and enjoy life.

If the source is fear then one needs to engage the higher brain to reexamine that, as many of the fear messages are invalid and inappropriate, originating as a means of protecting one's limbs and life.  Mechanically evolved over time (see the development of the brain in Managing The Mind), the fear messages come from Dumb and Dumber (the two lower brains) - and we must stop paying heed to their advice - would you let your life be highly influenced by two entities called Dumb and Dumber?  But people do.  Needless to say, as a result, the quality of life is not nearly as good as it could be.

Unless the event that happens is limb or life threatening, it is a manufactured fear which was used to interpret the event and to create a negative emotion.  Negative emotions cost one dearly.  Read Threats And Fear, in the Fear section.

Because of the immense cost of fears, the primary task to create happiness is to eliminate all of the imagined (unreal) fear and no longer give any credence to the illusionary ghosts.  Read the introduction to the Fear section.

The process is actually fairly simple, yet few do it to any high level, though it is vastly more important than meditation or any other practice or skill development.  "Completing" in this area will allow one to experience:

   1.  Fully-free self-expression
   2.  Fulfillment without limitations
   3.  Effectiveness in life
   4.  Peace of mind
   5.  Happiness and satisfaction

Your experience of life is through your emotions (see summary).  The emotions are determined by your thought structure (90%) and your actions and results (10%).  Your thought structure can produce confidence and belief in oneself, smoothness of emotions (ridding of negative ones), peace with no stress, and a powerfully based attitude that will result in happiness and satisfaction.
