WHAT IS ACTUALLY TRUE
Employing the same strategies that didn't work before perpetuates not succeeding again - and then it leads us to the untrue belief that "it" can't change or we feel hopeless and helpless. But it can be done, if you follow the process - and at a huge sucess rate. Once you see that it works, your confidence will soar.
THE PROCESS
The skill is to learn to operate via the process!
Definition of skill: proficiency, facility to produce a difference; attained through learning what is needed and how to apply it.
It is ok to engage in two complimentary changes at the same time, as they will multiply your progress and each other.
Assess (what is missing, needs to be changed, etc.; make a list, prioritize it.)
What is not going well
What is not being achieved
What would make me a better person
Prioritize goals, and within those, behaviors to change
Choose what to change
The ones you have the most "energy" for (the most desire for).
Do the preparation needed
Learn (Identify what is necessary to learn, plan when to do it, seek help as
needed)
Follow the formats of the way to do it (the "procedure" that works)
Often we have to find someone else who did it successfully and/or use a
template that is discoverable on the internet or via networking or an expert.
Sustain effort, maintain momentum
Tracking (monitoring) daily until it is complete.
Right actions at the right time for each stage
Use the exact step by step procedure that you design in the worksheet.
