DEVELOPING THE CORE OF MY LIFE
INTRODUCTION TO THE STEPS TO BECOMING POWERFULLY "INVULNERABLE"
I call this process "The Build". Through "The Build" each of us can create, with certainty, the solid, strong foundation that will guarantee us a good life.

THE PURPOSE AND CRITERIA FOR THE STEPS
Our life's purpose is to achieve high levels of happiness and satisfaction, so this, obviously, must be the purpose for the steps. And the measure of success must be "happiness", so we need to have a way to measure that. On the way to achieving true unconditional happiness, we must develop those skills and traits and systems that lead to that objective - so measuring and testing those will be a part of the process.
The "invulnerable" part is strictly about our not being at the mercy of circumstances or people - thereby, we are "not vulnerable" in a deep sense, in our core. Yes, all that is around it is vulnerable, but the central important core is unimpaired despite the circumstances. The latter involves a "skill" that we must develop if we are to be happy: Fearlessness
The measure of each step is its impact, its effect, on deep, enduring happiness.
With these, I have designed the steps (though you may of course choose to modify this "template").
Scan the text box, below, as it summarizes what the steps must achieve and then go to :
THE NECESSITY FOR "EFFECTIVE CONTROL"
Having my life dependent on what I can't control makes me a victim of what I can't control. It makes no sense to live that way.
So I focus my energy on what I can control - and I increase my ability to do "effective control". Essentially, if we cannot control something, we cannot produce a desired effect (duh!). So, to use the term "effective control" is a bit redundant - and in a sense it also adds the key criteria for control, which is to exert control where one can have the most effect. Controlling something without much of an effect, in other words, is fairly useless (= no or little good effect).
And I decide when I've learned enough to be at a high enough degree of control and impact.
NEXT, SCHEMATIC OF THE CORE OF LIFE
The core of one's life is where a person must build from, outward from the center, without being dependent on circumstances and people to create the happiness one's need.
