HOW TO UTILIZE MODELS
TO SPEED UP THE CREATION OF THE LIFE YOU LOVE
If only people would do "intense, deliberate modelling" as early in life as possible, they would have been living better lives, making fewer costly mistakes, and living happier much much sooner. Even kids can be taught this; and certainly teenagers would benefit, with alot less angst; and adults, starting right now.

CAPTURING IT, WITH DETAIL AND LOTS OF DISTINCTIONS
Every day, as soon as you can, write down what a successful person did that you admired and/or thought was useful. (Even go into the bathroom and write it down quickly, while your memory is fresh - and put an image in your mind of what you just observed.)
Ask questions, eliciting details:
How did he/she move, speak, the languaging, the attitudes, your sense of the person and how he/she felt. Was the person relaxed, graceful, energetic, calm, strong and solidly grounded.
How did people respond? What did you notice? What are their beliefs? What values were exhibited? Rules? Limits, boundaries?
What could I learn from this person? Do you think the person would be willing to, if you bought lunch, to share with you his/her wisdom and thoughts about life and perhaps a few bits on how to be successful in life? If so, assertively pursue it.
WRITE IT DOWN, SYNTHESIZE IT
Use a journal or write it up on the computer. Go back to the journal and type out the pages, as you integrate the winning strategies and attitudes in their lives into your life.
Remember that immediacy and feedback and prompt correction and practice were all parts of what the true champion does, as in Living Life As A Life Champion.
From this, you will create a composite of what you want in your life and how you'll be in life - but avoiding any unreasonable or perfectionistic expectations. It must be what you can integrate in your life to have it work, with grace, ease, calmness and in happiness.
You could even set up a notebook, where you organized all of these for reference and utilization.
PRACTICE IT, INSTALL IT
Take what you've learned and practice it, in front of the mirror. Speak the way he/she did, move the same way, note the expressions. Practice these until you make it something you've integrated and can do. Even do your best to duplicate how that person must have felt.
Consider videoing yourself and noticing what you did and what you might want to refine - and then do a new video. (It is amazing the confidence that people, and you, feel if they know that they are doing the basic right moves and speaking in a good way.)
Decide if you could use a coach, to help you dig deeper and/or to give you advice and more distinctions - and err on the side of not being too cheap about it - but utilize the heck out of what they offer. After all, you are creating you, the person you most would like to be.
You need to use deliberate, systematic, intentional learning where you do it to completion, including installing what you learned so it is automatic and comes effortlessly. Read and plumb the depths of Authentic Learning.
WHERE CAN YOU FIND MODELS?
Anywhere you go, just be on the look at for what you think was done well.
YouTube (watch videos of people you are impressed by, keep a reference of where the video is, and then copy what you want to be in your life or a part of you),
Books. Take out what you want to emulate and write it down immediately. And role play what you think it might have been like.
Movies. If there is a really great model in one, buy the movie and play it over and over, mimicking it.
