THE TEN PAGES A DAY PROGRAM
HOW TO GROW ALOT WITH VIRTUALLY NO EFFORT

"This is perhaps the best easiest technique to use to make a significant difference in your skillfulness and emotional intelligence in life."

"CHUNKING DOWN"

It is difficult for one to conceive of the enormous effort it would take to eat an elephant (any "big" project).   But the solution to the question of "how can I eat an elephant?" is always "one bite at a time."  (Similar to a journey of a thousand miles is begun with but a step.)

The ten pages a day program is simply a "few bites at a time", with easy digestion, but benefits as you go - greater benefits than you'd think for so little effort.  It is simply more palatable to most people than trying to conceive of taking huge amounts of time to get wiser, more enlightened, etc.

NOT TOO MUCH OF A COMMITMENT, EASILY 'FITTABLE'

It is easy to commit to.  It should be the minimum you commit to.  I don't care if you are already a guru, for even a guru can learn more of what is beneficial in life.

THE EFFECTS

The ten pages a day program has you focussing your mind on progressive concepts.
Thinking in terms of possibilities and of progress always has a positive effect on one's mood - plus it has a positive effect on one's actions, which in turn have an added positive effect on one's mood.  And this all builds up into a more and more positive effect on one's viewpoint, as it becomes wiser and more positive (the two go together, actually).

IDENTIFY THE RIGHT BOOKS TO READ

A little bit of planning will substantially increase the benefit.

To customize it for you, you can review a list of the recommended books in growth and select what strikes you as pertinent to your situation.

You could use a coach or a counselor to recommend what would be best for you.

The books ideally should be read in an "order of progression", as in school, learning the basics first and then graduating to higher level implementation.

Link into choosing or compiling a list of books to read:  Which Books To Read .

READ WHAT IS MOST RELEVANT IN A BOOK, SKIP THE REST

To learn effectively, one should use the practice of "sorting for relevance".  This means that you would not necessarily read a book straight through.  You might skip a detailed visit into an area of no relevance to you - so you can devote your time instead to what will do you more good.
